Job Description

Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team!
SUMMARY:
The primary focus of this position is to work closely with our production team to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet manufacturing specifications. The Quality Manager will provide support to the organization relative to improvement of quality as well as providing quality interface, expertise, and support to the production team, in providing assurance that our products meet engineering requirements. The candidate shall be highly motivated and an effective team player with strong communication and influential skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product. Developing quality control processes. Designing product specifications. Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards. Supervising staff and monitoring production standards. Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production. Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes. Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality. Rejecting products that fail quality standards. Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback. Producing statistical reports on quality standards. Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues. Evaluating product recalls. Improving production efficiency and managing waste.
Basic Qualifications:
Supervision of personnel is a requirement. Quality control certification is advantageous. Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control. Ability to handle stress. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports. Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards. Data analysis and statistical aptitude. Good interpersonal skills. Highly conscientious and diligent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Engineer or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field. Manufacturing Quality Training and certifications. ISO9000 formal auditing experience. Process and procedure development experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to respond to production floor inquiries. Ability to effectively present information to employees, customers, and management.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
