• Join a stable, family-owned company with long-term vision What You'll Do As Director of QA, you'll be a strategic leader and hands-on problem solver:
• Serve as the technical expert in dairy science, quality systems, and product conversion
• Lead food safety and quality assurance programs across multiple facilities
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, and GFSI standards
• Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with customer and business goals
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R D, and Operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex product quality challenges
• Guide teams on regulatory requirements and customer specifications
• Lead and support audits (internal & external) from prep through follow-up
• Monitor industry trends and translate insights into action
• Support and mentor QA teams across the organization What You Bring Education
• Bachelor's in Food Science, Biology, or related field (required)
• MS or PhD in Dairy/Food Science, Nutrition, or similar (strongly preferred) Experience
• 10-15+ years in the dairy industry (required)
• Background in quality, manufacturing, product development, or regulatory
• Deep knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory standards
• Hands-on experience with dairy processing, handling, or conversion Key Skills for Success
