Job Description

Job Title:
QA Coordinator Location:
New York, NY (Onsite)
Duties:
This position will be responsible for testing front end and back end of the applications supporting Markets business. It is a hands on position, you will be required to provide test strategy, test estimation, write and execute test cases, build test automation where it is applicable. Additional responsibilities include work closely with the stakeholders, project manager, business analysts and the application developers, utilize functional documentation and technical specifications to facilitate the creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts, perform data analysis and creation of test data, track and help resolve defects. Ensure that all testing is conducted and documented in adherence with MUFG standards.
Skills Required:
  • Experience working with Capital Markets products Equities, Fixed Income.
  • Experience with Equities, Repo and SBL is a plus.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience working in a role spanning from Front office to Back-office including finance and Risk.
  • Experience with middle office systems and collateral management.
  • BroadEdge Finpro / BPS / Impact (Preferred)
  • QA coordinator/Manager with proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Experience in coordinating big projects with multiple stakeholders / vendors and systems.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Hands on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution and Defect Management.
  • Hands on experience in creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, regression testing, data driven testing and meeting SLAs.
  • Ability to independently review and analyze business requirements; evaluate data sources, business rules etc.
  • Strong understanding of SQL concepts must have experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases.
  • Control M experience and SSIS able to run jobs independently (Preferred)
  • Experience with Data warehouse (Preferred)
  • Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, X-Ray etc.
  • Automation experience is a plus in Java, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ Idea.
  • "Go-getter" attitude.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
