Quality Director Location:
Peekskill, NY Salary:
$120,000 to $140,000 annually Seeking a strategic and hands-on Quality Director to lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control across multiple entities. This role drives consistency, audit readiness, and continuous improvement while owning the Quality Management System (QMS) and aligning quality initiatives with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all quality functions across multiple business units, ensuring consistent standards, procedures, and compliance Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including audit readiness, document control, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage quality teams, including inspectors, supervisors, and managers, providing leadership, training, and performance oversight Drive nonconformance processes, supplier quality, audit activities, and reporting to executive leadership, including metrics and corrective action initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems, or related field) Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering/systems within manufacturing, including 3+ years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, CAPA, audits, and manufacturing processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, databases); strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
