Quality Assurance Coordinator - 5 years of I/DD exp req'd

Mon-Fri, 35
Hours FLEX Salary:
$66,300 - $69,300 annually AHRC Nassau provides support to over 2,200 people throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The Quality Assurance Coordinator conducts investigations of incidents and completes investigation reports. Ensures quality of care of people receiving services from the Agency by ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures and OPWDD regulations. In addition, you will: Investigate incidents and allegations of abuse: Interview staff, analyze information obtained during investigations, complete investigation reports, identify systemic issues, and provide recommendations to programs for corrective measures. Maintain and manage incident files according to regulatory standards. Ensure all notifications of incidents comply with regulations, including uploading investigation files to oversight agencies. Provide general and specific training for agency staff on incident reporting and abuse prevention. Communicate with oversight agencies and provide information/documentation related to investigations as needed. Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.
We require:
BA or BS in the Human Services field. A Qualified NYS Driver's License. 5 years' experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and prior experience training. Experience conducting investigations, preferred. Computer proficiency in Word and Access preferred.
