Job Description:
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead site-wide quality systems, compliance initiatives, audit readiness, and continuous improvement activities within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role that will serve as the primary quality liaison across Operations, Process Engineering, Technical, R D, Account Management, and customer-facing teams. The successful candidate will drive quality excellence, strengthen customer outcomes, and foster a proactive quality culture across the site. Key Responsibilities As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will: Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), certifications, processes, and documentation Ensure quality requirements are fully integrated into product realization and manufacturing processes Incorporate customer-specific requirements, supplier quality manuals, and industry standards into the QMS Monitor, analyze, and communicate site quality performance metrics Lead investigations related to customer complaints, SCARs, non-conforming materials, and corrective actions Drive sustainable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) across the organization Implement data-driven quality improvement initiatives focused on yield, productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction Own the internal audit program and document control systems Support customer and supplier audits, visits, and quality reviews Troubleshoot and support quality-related systems including SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Operations, Engineering, and R D teams to improve first-pass quality and operational performance Act as the quality authority for Management of Change (MOC) activities and new product launches Deliver quality training, coaching, and leadership development across the site Champion a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
Decision-Making Authority Includes:
Product release approvals Non-conforming material disposition Fit, form, and function change approvals Quality escalations, investigation outcomes, and CAPA effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field 5+ years of quality management experience within automotive or advanced manufacturing environments 3+ years of leadership or people management experience Certified Lead Auditor experience (IATF and/or VDA preferred) Six Sigma Green Belt certification minimum Strong knowledge of automotive core tools including: FMEA, SPC, APQP, Control Plans Proven experience managing QMS frameworks, certifications, audits, and customer-specific requirements Hands-on experience leading quality investigations, SCARs, corrective actions, and customer complaint resolution Working knowledge of SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance systems Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Why Join?
