  • $185,000 base salary + bonus, vehicle allowance, benefits, and additional project-based incentives A leading national general contractor is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality to support large-scale mission-critical / data center construction projects across the Central Ohio market .
This is a senior-level quality leadership role suited for someone who understands the pace, complexity, documentation standards, and technical coordination required on hyperscale or highly technical construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong QA/QC experience, field credibility, and the ability to partner closely with project teams, trade partners, commissioning teams, and client-side stakeholders. This is not a narrow inspection role. The successful candidate will help drive quality standards, strengthen processes, support field execution, and ensure work is delivered to the level expected on complex mission-critical builds. Key Responsibilities Lead and support quality management efforts across large-scale mission-critical / data center construction projects Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality plans, inspection processes, documentation standards, and reporting procedures Partner with project executives, project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and commissioning teams to ensure quality expectations are clearly understood and consistently executed Review work in place for compliance with contract documents, specifications, drawings, approved submittals, and client standards Support quality efforts across CSA and MEP scopes, including coordination with trade partners and technical teams Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, deficiencies, non-conformance items, and recurring trends Drive proactive quality planning rather than reactive issue resolution Participate in pre-installation meetings, first-work inspections, mock-ups, punch walks, turnover planning, and commissioning readiness efforts Ensure accurate quality documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle Help build and improve internal quality processes, tools, and standards as the mission-critical platform continues to grow Serve as a trusted quality resource for field teams and project leadership Ideal Background 8+ years of construction experience, with a strong focus on quality management, field leadership, or technical project execution Prior experience on data center, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, industrial, or other complex technical construction projects Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, project documentation, inspections, work-in-place reviews, deficiency tracking, and closeout/turnover requirements Exposure to CSA and/or MEP quality preferred Ability to work closely with field teams, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives Strong communication skills and the ability to influence teams without creating unnecessary friction Experience developing or improving quality programs, processes, or standards is highly preferred Procore, BIM/VDC, commissioning, or technical documentation experience is a plus Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred, but equivalent field experience will be considered Why This Opportunity Senior-level quality leadership seat with a well-established national GC Opportunity to support high-profile mission-critical / data center projects across the Central Ohio market Strong visibility with regional and national leadership Ability to help shape quality processes and standards, not just enforce them Long-term growth potential as the company continues expanding within the mission-critical market Competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, vehicle allowance, full benefits, and additional project-based incentives Compensation Base salary is expected to fall between $125,000 and $185,000 , depending on experience, project background, and overall alignment.
