Overview We are seeking a hands?on yet strategic Quality Team Leader to support a high?volume manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards across manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products. This position offers the opportunity to lead quality initiatives across both mass production and new model launches while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and customer?facing teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems to ensure production meets established standards, customer specifications, and performance goals Provide direction and oversight during new model development to ensure timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are achieved Oversee quality activities related to mass production and customer issues, including investigations and resolution strategies Serve as a key resource for problem identification, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation Analyze quality data and trends, providing actionable insights to leadership and driving continuous improvement initiatives Facilitate cross?functional collaboration between production, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams Develop and maintain quality documentation, including FMEA, control plans, inspection standards, and related documentation Lead and mentor quality team members, including assigning work, performance management, training, and development Oversee supplier quality processes, including approvals, change management, and ongoing performance Maintain gage control and calibration programs and ensure adherence to quality standards across the plant Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and costIdeal Candidate Profile Required:
Automotive manufacturing experience Experience working in IATF?regulated environments Prior leadership or management experience Strong data?driven mindset with experience analyzing quality metrics and reporting Experience supporting both high?volume production and new model/program launchesPreferred:
Experience working with Japanese OEMs (Honda, Toyota, etc.) Exposure to Plex or similar manufacturing ERP/QMS systems Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Minimum of 4+ years of related experience in a manufacturing quality environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, CAPA) Excellent communication, organizational, and problem?solving skills Ability to operate in a fast?paced, evolving manufacturing environmentSimilar remote jobs
