Quality Supervisor

Quality Manager Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to complement the skills and talents of our Quality Department.

Primary Job Duties:

Manage and coordinate the work of quality inspectors Verify inspection results and coach team members to ensure quality standards are applied consistently Coordinate containment efforts when non-conformances are identified Utilize statistical analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation Analyze and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance Develop and implement quality work instructions and training programs Collaborate with management and senior staff across production departments to establish quality standards Review quality control documentation (checklists, logs, reports) for effectiveness and accuracy Conduct audits and routine inspections to uphold and improve quality standards Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills/Experience:

5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Control management role in manufacturing Proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train staff Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and supervisory skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to move around an office and production environment, including accessing files and workstations Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to navigate around machinery and industrial equipment Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

Education Background:

Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Certifications such as CQA or CQM (ASQ) are a plus Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and quality control methodologies

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
