This role will also continually evaluate and monitor the quality program to ensure compliance to the AS9100 certification while driving process improvement and efficiencies. The Quality Manager works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address and help resolve issues, ensure training and overall compliance to the program. This role will serve as the face of the organization when resolving customer quality issues or concerns, while protecting the interests of the organization. T Responsibilities
- Drive and monitor the quality program of the organization, serving as the Quality Champion of the company.
- Provides leadership, mentorship and direction to the entire quality team while creating accountability within each team member, offering coaching and training to improve skills and develop talent on the team.
- Perform root cause analysis and embrace collaborative efforts to drive resolution to ensure production issues are resolved.
- Develop and drive quality training for new hires and existing employees to ensure quality standards are consistent and are being upheld by all employees, including training to address corrective action items within the production process.
- Manages the entire audit process for both certification audits and customer audits.
- Addresses and responds to non-conformities within the audits, manages corrective actions and documents new processes or procedures established as a result of these non-conformities.
- Maintain current knowledge of AS9100 certification to ensure compliance for the organization.
- Collaborate with operations leadership of all levels to ensure quality products are produced.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation for audits, certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a strategic partner with other leaders within the organization to prepare for continued and sustainable growth for the company.
- Working collaboratively with all levels of leadership to drive facilities safety, security and emergency preparedness for the property and employees.
- Lead and support safety excellence by holding team members accountable to performance, procedures and processes, including safety.
- Additional duties as needed or assigned. Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing with progressive responsibility.
- Proficiency in
ISO9001, AS9100
certification experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team, developing others through mentoring and coaching, while establishing accountability with performance.
- Ability to learn production processes to be a resource to production team and provide solutions to quality issues in production.
- Experience with MS Office, Excel, and ERP system.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, understand measurements and compare product details to customer specifications.
- Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks at once with interruptions.
- Strong editing, proofreading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with customers and Leadership in a professional manner.
- High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.

- Ability to use hands, including fingers to hold, touch, see, feel, grip, squeeze, push and pull as required for testing but also performing computer work.
- Ability to perform pushing, pulling and forward exertion on a regular basis.
- Ability to have overhead extension with arms on a semi-regular basis.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, crouch and squat frequently.
- Ability to see near and far, utilize peripheral vision and depth perception for tasks being performed, as well as visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and drawings, small parts, viewing a computer screen for extended periods of time, and extensive reading.
- Ability to bend and twist neck to monitor machine production accuracy.
- Ability to hear at normal speaking levels with or without correction.

- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floor for 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs on a consistent basis.
- Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 50lbs on a frequent basis as needed for tooling products.
- Ability to understand and communicate verbally, in person and over paging system.
- Ability to meet requirements of and utilize all PPE when required.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or minimum of 6 years of experience in a Quality Manager role. Formal CMM/CNC/Machining technical training or equivalent experience. Environmental The environment described here is meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of the job. The physical environment requires the employee to work inside in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to heat or cold and production noise. Required to use PPE while performing job functions. Special Job Dimensions Work involves overtime and could involve schedule changes based on company need. Requires adherence to deadlines and project completion deadlines.

$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
