$95-110k BlueWorx is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing supplier and customer quality concerns, and leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts. This is a leadership opportunity for a quality professional with strong analytical ability, audit experience, and a passion for operational excellence. Position Overview The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, supporting manufacturing operations, leading corrective action efforts, and driving data-driven quality improvements across the organization. Key Responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in alignment with
ISO 9001
2015 Ensure compliance with document control and records management requirements Lead internal and external audit preparation, execution, and corrective action follow-up Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis Perform analysis on defects, nonconformances, and yield trends Utilize statistical and analytical tools to support quality decision-making Present quality metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives to leadership Lead continuous improvement efforts using structured methodologies Root Cause Analysis & CAPA Lead investigations using: 5 Whys Fishbone diagrams Fault tree analysis Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues Nonconformance & Customer Quality Manage nonconforming materials and disposition processes Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns Coordinate cross-functional corrective action activities Supplier Quality Management Support supplier qualification and performance initiatives Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams to improve material quality Oversee incoming inspection and testing processes Leadership & Cross-Functional Support Mentor and develop quality personnel Support engineering, operations, and supply chain teams with quality initiatives Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline preferred Minimum 5-8 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in manufacturing Experience managing:
ISO 9001
2015 systems Audits CAPA programs Continuous improvement initiatives Strong understanding of: Root cause analysis Statistical analysis Quality metrics and reporting Proficiency with: Microsoft Excel Data analysis tools Minitab (preferred) Manufacturing or chemical process experience preferred Core Competencies Data-driven decision making Leadership and team development Cross-functional communication and collaboration Problem-solving and process improvement Compliance and attention to detail Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment Participation in audits, meetings, and cross-functional projects Occasional travel may be required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Reduction in defects and nonconformances CAPA effectiveness and closure rates Audit readiness and compliance performance Supplier quality improvements Timely customer complaint resolution #AEC
