Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Manager based in Portland, OR. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality systems to meet industry standards and customer specifications. Key responsibilities include leading quality audits, evaluating and improving quality procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, and providing training on quality standards. The role will also involve driving continuous improvement initiatives to uphold the company's commitment to excellence. Qualifications Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems, including ISO and Nadcap standards Strong skills in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation Proficiency in quality auditing, report preparation, and internal compliance checks Knowledge of heat treating and metal processing operations, especially within aerospace or related industries Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, auditors, and internal teams Proficiency in data analysis and quality management software is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related field Relevant certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISO Lead Auditor are preferred Keywords time-and-attendance maintenance-repair-and-operations-mro audits training-certification education-training training-and-development continuous-improvement-process-cip i-o-memory-peripheral-connectors international-organization-for-standardization-iso incentive-stock-options-iso root-cause-analysis-rca testing-and-analysis corrective-and-preventive-action compliance data-analytics quality-management cabinet-construction-materials-hardware materials-science
