About the Company A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead site quality operations, strengthen compliance programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a highly regulated production environment. About the Role This position offers the opportunity to influence quality strategy across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing functions while leading a team responsible for maintaining product integrity and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with technical expertise in aerospace quality systems and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of quality professionals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Drive a culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction Oversee quality management system activities and ensure ongoing compliance with aerospace industry standards Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and program teams to resolve quality concerns and improve operational performance Lead internal audits, customer audits, regulatory assessments, and certification activities Establish and monitor quality performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvement initiatives Manage root cause investigations and corrective action programs to reduce recurring quality issues Support product realization processes from planning through final delivery Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives Reduce quality-related costs through preventive actions and process optimization Ensure documentation, procedures, inspection plans, and quality records remain accurate and compliant Serve as a key quality representative with customers, suppliers, and regulatory organizations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related discipline Eight or more years of progressive quality experience within aerospace, aviation, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments Previous leadership experience managing quality teams and cross-functional initiatives Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems Experience supporting aerospace audits, compliance programs, and certification activities Demonstrated success implementing corrective and preventive action programs Expertise in root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement practices Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements Experience with first article inspections and aerospace quality documentation Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels Preferred Skills NADCAP accreditation support and maintenance AS9102 First Article Inspection reporting Supplier quality management and corrective action programs Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Aerospace component manufacturing processes Customer quality management and quality risk mitigation Transfer of work or manufacturing transition projects Pay range and compensation package Visible leadership role with significant influence on operational performance.
