Job Description

Abernathy, TX,Buffalo, NY Full Time About Fluidstack At Fluidstack, we build the compute, data centers, and power that will fuel artificial superintelligence. We supply GWs of compute capabilities to the world's biggest AI Labs at industry-defining speeds. Our team is small, fast, and obsessed with quality. We own outcomes end-to-end, challenge assumptions, and treat our customers' problems as our own. No task is beneath anyone here. There are a few thousand people who will shape the trajectory of superintelligence. Come and be one of them. About The Role We are seeking experienced Regional Quality Managers to own construction quality across our data center program. These are founding roles — you will build the quality function for your region from the ground up, establish the standard, and have the authority to enforce it. As an owner/developer, Fluidstack sits at the top of the construction hierarchy. You will be the client — with full contractual authority to hold every party on site accountable to the quality standard. We are hiring for multiple regions simultaneously, with each RQM owning their region independently while collaborating with peers on shared standards, tools, and reporting. Responsibilities Develop and enforce QA/QC standards, inspection protocols, and documentation requirements across all active projects in your region Conduct and oversee field inspections for conformance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements Hold GCs, subcontractors, and trade contractors accountable — issue NCRs, track corrective actions to closure, and escalate when warranted Manage and oversee third-party quality inspection and testing firms; review deliverables, validate findings, and ensure third-party scope aligns with project requirements Serve as the quality authority in your region; coordinate directly with project executives, site superintendents, and design teams Build and report quality metrics to leadership; drive a culture of quality across the program Lay the groundwork for a regional inspection team as the program scales Basic Qualifications 10+ years in construction with at least 5 years in a senior quality or field leadership role Data center construction experience strongly preferred; large-scale mission-critical or industrial experience considered Demonstrated ability to manage quality across multiple concurrent, fast-moving projects Deep knowledge of construction codes, contract documents, specifications, and inspection processes A track record of holding GCs, trade contractors, and third-party firms accountable — you know how to enforce a standard without burning relationships Strong written communication: reports, NCRs, RFIs, and closeout documentation are second nature CQM, CQMC, or equivalent certification preferred Willingness to travel extensively within your region Benefits Competitive total compensation package (cash + equity). Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. We are committed to pay equity and transparency. Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
