Job Description

PEMB Detailing Manager Our client is seeking an experienced PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) Detailing Manager to lead and oversee a team of detailers supporting a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial metal building projects. This position is ideal for a seasoned PEMB detailer who has progressed into a leadership role and enjoys mentoring others, managing workflows, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of completed detailing packages. Responsibilities Manage and oversee a team of approximately 15-20 PEMB detailers Review and check detailing work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements Coordinate detailing schedules and workloads to meet project deadlines Provide technical guidance and mentorship to detailing staff Collaborate with engineering, project management, fabrication, and production teams Assist in developing detailing standards, procedures, and best practices Monitor quality control and maintain consistency across all detailing deliverables Troubleshoot complex detailing issues and provide solutions when necessary Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience detailing and drafting PEMB structures Strong understanding of PEMB systems, fabrication processes, and erection requirements Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring detailers preferred Proficiency with industry-standard PEMB detailing software Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to review and interpret construction documents, engineering drawings, and project specifications Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and vacation Long-term career growth opportunities with a stable and growing organization Location The preferred work arrangement is onsite in Louisiana; however, remote candidates with extensive PEMB detailing and leadership experience will be considered for this opportunity.
