Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing QA Manager to oversee the Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) of a massive healthcare IT system. This is a complex, change-oriented project requiring a leader who can operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
Columbia, SC Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Interview Process:
1 Round (Virtual/Online)
Core Responsibilities Quality Governance:
Ensure project conformance using PMI-oriented methodologies and MITA-mature standards.
Requirements Validation:
Monitor development execution and validate deliverables against a Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Strategic Metrics:
Develop technical metrics and quality management templates to be used across the enterprise.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
UAT Oversight:
Consolidate defect tracking and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) protocols.
Stakeholder Liaison:
Interact with vendors, government agencies, and internal leadership.
Key Required Skills Healthcare IT Systems:
3+ years of Quality Management experience specifically on major IT healthcare systems.
Insurance Implementations:
3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance software/system implementations.
Rules Engines:
Hands-on experience with modern commercial rules engines and their orchestration layers.
Communication:
Superb written/oral skills with the ability to present complex data to executive management.
Preferred Qualifications Medicaid Expertise:
Understanding of MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture) and MECT (Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit).
Public Sector:
Experience with outsourced IT development projects for government or state entities.
Education:
Master's Degree preferred (Bachelor's required).
