Long term Contract Local to Bethesda, MD and with excellent communication skills Job Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance initiatives across web and enterprise applications. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with test automation tools. The ideal candidate will drive QA strategy, manage testing efforts, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring effective test planning, execution, and delivery Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and business stakeholders Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts across applications Drive test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, or Playwright Ensure test coverage, traceability, and defect management processes are in place Provide regular status updates, metrics, and reports to stakeholders Participate in requirement analysis and ensure testability of solutions Mentor and guide QA team members Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/manager role Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium and/or TOSCA Exposure to Playwright is a plus (nice to have) Experience in both manual and automation testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with defect tracking and test management tools Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work Model Hybrid role: 3 days onsite per week in Bethesda, MD
