Construction Quality Control Manager Job Description Join our team for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at $27.5 million, focusing on construction projects. This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee quality control within a variety of construction environments. Responsibilities Oversee and ensure the quality control of construction projects on-site. Collaborate closely with three government representatives to manage and execute construction projects. Implement and manage quality control processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with Federal administrative construction processes and safety standards, includingUSACE EM
385-1-1 andOSHA 1926.
Identify hazards and ensure safety compliance and sustainability in construction practices. Manage and supervise construction trades and disciplines, including architectural work, structural, earthwork, utilities, and more. Essential Skills High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of ten years combined experience on private or Federal construction projects, with at least five years as a Quality Control Manager on similar contracts. Experience with Federal construction contracts of comparable cost, type, and complexity. Completion of the 'Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors' course, with a requirement to obtain certification within 30 days if not already certified. Familiarity with safety requirements ofUSACE EM
385-1-1 and/orOSHA 1926.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability. Working knowledge of a wide range of construction trades, including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, telecommunications, and more. Work Environment This position is based on-site at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Charleston, SC. The role involves working closely with government representatives on various construction projects, requiring a hands-on approach and attention to detail in a dynamic environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
