Job Description:
Quality Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve our quality systems in a metal manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements, driving corrective actions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization. Responsibilities Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Manage customer quality issues, corrective actions, and root cause investigations. Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities. Analyze quality data and implement improvements to reduce defects and scrap. Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and process performance. Lead and develop quality personnel. Preferred Experience Quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with metal fabrication, machining, welding, stamping, casting, or related metal manufacturing processes. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality metrics. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, and inspection methods. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, including leadership responsibilities. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools. Competitive compensation and benefits package offered.
