This facility specializes in advanced automotive components including electronic gear shifters, EV charge port doors, and surface-mount (PCB/SMD) manufacturing. This role is ideal for a proven quality leader with a strong automotive background and prior experience in a supervisory or management capacity. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in driving quality performance, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and mentor the Quality team, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, APQP/Launch, Test Lab, Customer Care, and Warranty functions Manage and drive all plant quality activities to meet established KPIs and performance targets Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and procedures Serve as the primary facilitator for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Provide quality support throughout all phases of product development and manufacturing Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to ensure product and process quality Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and reduce defects Support resolution of internal and external quality issues, including customer concerns and warranty matters Ensure compliance with all applicable automotive quality standards and requirements Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality At least 2+ years of leadership or management experience Previous experience in Quality Engineering and/or Quality Management required Experience supporting electronic or PCB/SMD manufacturing processes is highly preferred Proven ability to lead teams and drive quality initiatives in a production environment Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of quality systems, methodologies, and procedures Working knowledge of automotive standards including ISO and IATF requirements Deep understanding of APQP and PPAP processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
