Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Quality Manager at our Burleson, TX location. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Quality) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-5 years of proven work experience in managing quality or process engineering with quality focus.
- Comfort and experience interfacing with sales managers and end-user customers.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent team building skills, conflict management skills, and the ability to maintain strong employee relations.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test/trial plans and design of experiments.
- Background in the manufacture of building products or experience with plastics manufacturing is preferred.
- Proven work experience in with quality engineering, including developing or managing quality management systems.
- Preferred background in developing and managing ISO quality management systems.
- Preferred experience implementing document management systems.
- Preferred managing competency based training systems.
- Prefer experience with Six Sigma, or demonstrated experience using SPC, DOE, and capability analysis.
- Effective PC skills with MS Word, Excel, Minitab (or similar), and Outlook Mail; Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience with Product Management Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for Quality Management including the administration and implementation of Quality Management System reflective of an end-user defined fitness for use.
- Owner of the management of change system for raw materials, product specifications, and process specifications.
- Routinely meets with external customers to define and then refine product requirements; develops formal process to manage any field complaints and product warranty claims.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for development and implementation of systems to measure and assure compliance to defined specifications and fitness for use requirements for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
- Contribute to the engineering team in continuous improvement projects while providing project oversight to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Develops SOPs and performs audits to assure testing is being performed correctly.
- Sets up and manages SPC system and processes as well as develop SOPs and audit protocols.
- Implements and leads trial management system, which includes planning, approvals, materials, staffing, execution, documentation and results.
- Creates vision and strategy to achieve innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance operations. Safety
