Manufacturing Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager Weatherford - 3.9 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead our Quality department and drive excellence in manufacturing operations. This role will oversee all quality functions, ensure compliance with Weatherford's Global QMS and customer requirements, and spearhead quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero defects and zero quality escapes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in quality assurance, process qualification, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. Roles and Responsibilities Lead and manage the Manufacturing Quality department, ensuring full compliance with
ISO 9001, API
Q1, and customer specifications Develop and implement quality plans, operational procedures, quality assurance systems, and process qualifications Maintain and continuously improve the Site Quality Management System, including procedures and work instructions Develop and execute annual audit programs; conduct detailed audits to ensure certification compliance and regulatory standards Oversee day-to-day QA/QC activities, contract reviews, and Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for production orders Drive quality improvement programs aligned with corporate objectives, focusing on zero defects and cost of quality reduction Manage TMDE (Testing Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment) calibration programs and equipment control Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action implementation; verify effectiveness of corrective measures Monitor quality KPIs and conduct Quality Management reviews with cross-functional leadership teams Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Product Line, and Operations teams to address quality issues Interface with internal/external customers, third-party auditors, and certification bodies Hire, train, and develop quality personnel; establish clear goals and conduct performance reviews Exercise 'Stop Work Authority' when safety, quality, or integrity concerns arise Skills and Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred) 8+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment 5+ years of hands-on knowledge with ISO 9001 or API Q1 quality management systems 5+ years of Manufacturing Quality experience specifically related to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly Experience with IPC-610 standard for electronic assemblies Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Analytical expertise in defect data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking capabilities Certified ISO auditor IPC-610 certification Experience with Oil Field Wireline assembly operations #LI-KP1
