By applying to this job posting, you agree with and acknowledge our privacy policy. Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in the Automotive business segment. This role will be the primary quality liaison, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing organizational change, and utilizing core automotive quality tools to eliminate defects and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. They are primarily responsible for ensuring all products meet stringent safety and customer performance requirements through effective problem-solving and quality assurance oversight. In ENNOVI's automotive segment, we bring together unparalleled mechanical and electrical experience, high-precision engineering design skills, and advanced manufacturing capabilities to help realize EV solutions, including battery, power, and signal applications. Main Responsibilities Serve as the primary quality contact and liaison for all customer interactions, managing escalations and communication. Lead problem-solving efforts (often using methodologies like 8D, Six Sigma, or Lean) to identify the root cause of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Manage, mentor, and train the quality team, as well as broader production teams, on quality standards, procedures, and the use of quality control methods. Ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire product lifecycle, from Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to final product audits and warranty issues. Championing a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Kaizen events, and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce defects, minimize scrap/rework, and improve overall efficiency. Coordinate and support customer audits and visits, ensuring all necessary documentation and procedures are in place. Drive Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) improvements related to in process scrap, sorting, and warranty. Ensures IATF 16949 and VDA6.3 standards are met. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality preferred), Manufacturing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in quality within the industrial manufacturing sector, with at least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role. Expertise in core automotive quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC is a plus. Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively presenting data and complex information to customers, suppliers, and executive leadership. Proven track record of successfully managing organizational change, improving quality culture, and implementing new systems and processes during periods of business transformation. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$150,000.00
