This role ensures products, installations, and services consistently meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. The Quality Assurance Manager partners closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Field Operations, Customer Support, and Leadership teams to improve product reliability, reduce defects and warranty costs, ensure safety compliance, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical, compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. This position is a full‑time, onsite role located at the Company's U.S. headquarters in Richardson, TX, Monday - Friday. Primary Responsibilities Quality Management & Compliance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS), including
ISO 9001
compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Lead internal audits, inspections, NCRs, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs.
  • Maintain quality documentation, testing records, and compliance reporting.
  • Monitor adherence to operational, quality, and safety standards. Production & Product Quality
  • Establish quality standards for surveillance equipment assembly, staging, testing, refurbishment, and deployment.
  • Oversee incoming, in‑process, and final product inspections.
  • Develop and maintain testing protocols for: Cameras and IP video systems Mobile surveillance systems and trailers Networking, cellular/RF, power, and low‑voltage equipment
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve recurring product quality issues.
  • Partner with Engineering and Production to improve manufacturability and product reliability. Supplier & Inventory Quality
  • Manage supplier quality programs and vendor performance metrics.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and corrective action follow‑ups.
  • Ensure purchased components and materials meet quality specifications.
  • Support inventory accuracy, traceability, and material control initiatives. Field & Service Quality
  • Analyze field failures, warranty claims, RMA data, and service trends.
  • Collaborate with Field Service and Technical Support teams to reduce repeat service issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for field and customer‑reported issues.
  • Support installation quality audits and field process improvement initiatives. EH&S Leadership
  • Own and manage the company's
U.S. EH&S
program.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across operations, production, and field teams. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards for quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Drive LEAN, Kaizen, or process improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Reduce defect rates, warranty costs, rework, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Lead cross‑functional quality improvement projects. Team Leadership
  • Manage, mentor, and support QA technicians, inspectors, or quality coordinators.
  • Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing, electronics, surveillance, security technology, or related industry.
  • Experience with quality systems, audits, and corrective action processes.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, surveillance systems, networking equipment, or technical products.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/QMS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred
ISO 9001
experience
  • OSHA 30 certified
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with mobile surveillance systems, IP cameras, RF/cellular technologies, or low-voltage systems
  • Experience managing supplier quality programs
  • Multi-site operational quality experience Leadership & Professional Competencies
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze complex quality and safety issues and drive data‑driven corrective action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements to cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven leadership experience training employees and leading quality or safety initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative, hands‑on leadership style with strong cross‑functional partnership skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range $90,000k - $100,000k depending upon experience.
  • $10,000k annual performance-based bonus
