Description:
Job Description Prolifix Nutrition is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in the food production industry. As a leading company committed to delivering high-quality nutritional products, we prioritize excellence, safety, and compliance in every aspect of our operation. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems, ensuring that all products meet stringent safety and quality standards. This position requires a proactive leader who can oversee quality assurance processes, manage audits, and coordinate cross-functional teams to foster continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control methodologies, and have a passion for driving operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact product integrity, customer satisfaction, and overall company success, working closely with production, and other departments. Join Prolifix Nutrition and contribute to our mission of providing nutritious, safe, and reliable food products to consumers worldwide while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformances and product deviations. Prepare and present quality reports to regulatory bodies. Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and best practices to continuously improve quality processes. Review incoming raw powders to ensure quality and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associate's Degree with 3 years Quality Management experience. Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as
HACCP, GMP, ISO
22000, and FDA regulations. Proven ability to lead quality assurance teams and manage complex quality projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools. Will train an exceptional candidate in any of these fields, if they are lacking. Benefits Two weeks paid vacation, paid holidays. As a business with less than 20 employees, we are unable to secure affordable benefits packages. We have found that it makes more sense financially, for our employees to secure their own benefits packages. We include the approximate cost of benefits in the compensation package. We have an annual meeting which takes place on company grounds where employees are invited to meet with an experienced insurance agent, one at a time, during work hours to renew or begin benefits. This has worked out well for us. Full-time
