Work Force Enterprises Job Purpose :
Regional QC Manager is responsible to develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization's production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization. Ensures that the product and service provided is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take charge of all Go Lives-start-up projects of DC's for the next 3 years-extensive traveling for long periods of time. Traveling as needed to each DC for inspections of assigned facilities to determine condition; diagnose problems and initiate necessary actions. Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements. Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards. Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes. Facilitates communication among production divisions and management. Assesses test results and approves recommended changes. Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance. Conducts random inspections and quality control checks. Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervise warehouse products for Quality Assurance Enforce plant quality standards Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components. Monitor, enforce and further develop plant HACCP program Knowledge of MSDS Ensure that all quality assurance programs and procedures are being implemented correctly Ensure compliance to Federal, State and local regulations Increase awareness and evaluation of GMP's . Follow all food Safety Requirements' and Good Manufacturing Practices as applicable to this position Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met. Assist and maintain high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures. Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies. Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related industrial, scientific, or business field required; Master's degree preferred. Eight to 10 years of related experience required with at least five years as a quality engineer or similar role highly preferred.
Computer Skills:
Strong computer skills required; with knowledge in MS Office, Excel and WMS system literacy
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
