Job Description

Summary Diversified Personnel Services is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for one of our exclusive client partners. This role leads and coordinates the organization's Production Quality Management System (QMS) and food safety compliance programs. The Quality Assurance Manager develops, implements, and sustains quality systems to ensure products and services meet customer expectations while complying with all regulatory and quality standards. This position serves as a technical resource for internal teams and external partners, supports government-funded programs such as SourceAmerica, leads audit activities, maintains quality documentation, and drives continuous improvement through process innovation and quality enhancements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to ensure consistent product quality. Serve as a liaison across departments, communicating quality issues, audit findings, priorities, and process updates. Coordinate and prepare quality-related meetings, including agendas and documentation, as needed. Oversee the overall quality of products shipped across all client facilities. Schedule and supervise the Quality Team, providing continuous support to production operations across multiple shifts, up to seven days per week. Ensure QMS records and documentation are established, maintained, and effective using Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) methodology. Lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are documented, reviewed, and sustained. Develop, maintain, and update quality assurance processes, including critical control points, preventive measures, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification activities. Prepare for and lead all quality audits, including customer, vendor, process, and product audits, and ensure audit findings are reviewed and implemented. Manage quality-related communication with vendors and customer representatives. Partner with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure understanding and compliance with customer-specific requirements, work instructions, and performance plans. Ensure procedures and processes comply with USDA, FDA, ISO, HACCP, and other applicable food safety and regulatory standards. Manage supplier and internal corrective actions, non-conforming material reviews, and customer quality issue resolution. Electronically produce, file, and maintain quality documentation, including Corrective Action Reports, and provide monthly quality reporting to management. Champion monthly quality reporting by identifying root causes of recurring issues and recommending continuous improvement initiatives. Supervise and direct an organized and effective quality department through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Recommend and implement changes to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned.
