QUALITY MANAGER

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to own and lead our laboratory quality program. This is a replacement role for a long-tenured team member, which means you'll be stepping into an established, functioning program — and bringing your expertise to strengthen and advance it. In a company of 30 people, this role carries real influence. You won't be managing a bureaucracy; you'll be the person who sets the standard. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain our ISO/IEC 17025-based laboratory quality management system Oversee A2LA accreditation, including assessments, the quality manual, and corrective actions Lead CAPA processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements across aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors Maintain document control and quality records Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and accreditation bodies Collaborate closely with laboratory staff and leadership at all levels Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or quality-related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment Direct experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and A2LA accreditation strongly preferred Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, or defense quality requirements (AS9100, NADCAP, or similar) a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working in a small team environment Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $105,000-$120,000 depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k) with profit sharing, and health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
