Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain quality control system and documents, which may include but are not limited to: procedures, audits, controls, corrective actions, and calibrations Maintain control of procedural documents; write new procedures; revise existing procedures; ensure procedural compliance Conduct internal audits, document findings and follow up on corrective action Perform root cause analysis for internal issues and customer complaints; make recommendations for solutions Maintain records of quality issues, corrective action and general quality statistics; report on quality performance to management Inspect components and material; insure compliance with blueprint requirements Work with external venders to ensure quality standards are met; work with Purchasing and suppliers on material quality issues Work with customers on PPAP submittals Build control plans for our process Support our lab testing and calibrations Issue RMAs for customer concerns/product returns Back up to Quality manager for all Quality functions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field Three (3) or more years experience a quality position; manufacturing preferred Proficiency with measuring tools: micrometers, calibers, comparator, gages, etc. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner Drive issues to closure
