In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of fabrication machinery to produce high-quality components and assemblies. Your expertise in machine operation, blueprint reading, and precision measurement will ensure that production meets strict quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up and operate fabrication machinery including CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, press brake machines, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining equipment. Read and interpret detailed drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production. Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to produce precise parts efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machinery to maintain optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Utilize hand tools and tooling to assemble fabricated components according to specifications. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely within the manufacturing area. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or similar fabrication equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly. Skilled in reading drawings. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for quality inspection. Basic math skills necessary for calculating measurements and machine settings. Knowledge of welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification preferred but not required. Familiarity with tooling setup, machining processes, and manufacturing safety practices. Heavy lifting is required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finished products.
