The Basics:
High school diploma or GED Trade or technical training (i.e., machining, CNC mill operation, use of lathes or metal cutting/surfacing/grinding equipment) or previous experience in an accredited testing laboratory Must have experience in a laboratory environment, machine shop, or similar industrial setting Ability to lift samples up to 50lbs without assistance Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various cutting, milling, and testing equipmentThe Extras:
Experience in an ISO certified industrial laboratory environment as a lab technician or above position Hands-on experience of sample preparation and testing Knowledge of quality systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices Have proven experience operating tensile testing machines, CNC mills, CNC lathes, waterjets, or CNC Plasma cutterTRAITS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Maintain good Laboratory practices and compliance withISO 17025
Process test specimens in accordance with ISO, ASTM and JIS test standards Ensure all produced test specimens follow listed standards Safety and Hazard identification in all areas of operation Responsibly for maintaining a clean work area Demonstrates the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment Fulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respectYOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
