Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Petroleum Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance within the petroleum industry. In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will oversee the inspection and verification processes of petroleum products, facilities, and equipment to meet stringent regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain operational excellence, safeguard environmental standards, and uphold industry best practices. Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of petroleum storage tanks, pipelines, and processing facilities using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Verify compliance with industry standards including
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations through detailed audits and documentation reviews. Utilize advanced calibration tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure measurement accuracy and equipment integrity. Perform quality control checks on petroleum products by collecting data samples, analyzing results, and documenting findings accurately for quality assurance purposes. Lead quality audits to identify areas for improvement within manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to quality management systems. Support the implementation of quality systems by maintaining detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, corrective actions, and compliance reports. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and uphold safety standards across all operations. Skills Proficiency in using Calypso software for data collection and analysis related to petroleum quality management systems. Strong knowledge of
ISO 13485
(medical device quality management), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations applicable to petroleum or related industries. Experience operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Expertise in conducting quality audits and inspections within manufacturing environments focused on safety and compliance. Excellent analysis skills to interpret measurement data accurately and identify deviations or non-conformances. Familiarity with quality assurance protocols including QA/QC procedures, defect analysis, and corrective action implementation. Ability to perform detailed data collection while maintaining meticulous records for regulatory review purposes.
