- 7:00pm Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this vital role, you are responsible for ensuring extrusion and finished products meet all quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role supports daily production by monitoring processes, inspecting materials and finished goods, documenting results, and working closely with Operations, Leads, and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Promote and follow all safety policies and procedures with a commitment to safety and quality excellence. Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Monitor extrusion processes and assist with troubleshooting quality issues using mechanical aptitude and process awareness. Perform dimensional measurements and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools & machines. Collect and record quality data inspection reports. Using strong organizational and documentation skills Identify non‑conforming material and ensure proper segregation and documentation. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities. Verify raw materials and finished products meet quality standards. Assist with Packing inspections and production startups. Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with company and
ISO 9001
standards. Support audits (internal, customer, and external) as needed using the ability to prioritize tasks in a production environment Communicating quality concerns clearly with production, supervisors, and management using effective verbal and written communication Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or quality assurance roles, with a strong understanding of QA/QC processes. Hands-on experience with calibration and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of industry standards including
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, HACCP, and CGMP is highly preferred but not required. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or deviations. Familiarity with data collection tools. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
