Quality Inspector

Dixie Metalcraft, a precision sheet metal and machine shop, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured parts and components meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and components. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, pins, and other inspection equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify product requirements. Inspect, test, and measure materials and products throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Communicate inspection findings with production personnel and management. Assist with maintaining AS9100 compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.

Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience preferred. Previous quality inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
