Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Electronic Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring that electronic components and assemblies meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections, utilizing precision measurement tools, and verifying compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, and HACCP protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to product reliability, safety, and overall quality assurance processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
RResponsibilities:
Perform visual and mechanical inspection of printed circuit assemblies (PCAs) and electronic components. Verify workmanship to IPC-610 and
J-STD-001
standards. Inspect conformal coating applications for coverage, thickness, and defects. Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and quality issues. Utilize inspection tools including calipers, gauges, and optical inspection equipment (microscopes, magnifiers, etc.). Interpret drawings, schematics, work instructions, and acceptance criteria. Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met. Perform process quality audits.
Skills/Experience/Training Requirements:
Current
IPC-A-610
Certification (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) Current
J-STD-001
Certification (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronics Assemblies) If not currently certified, will be responsible for completing training to become certified. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications. Proficiency in using inspection tools (calipers, gauges, microscopes, optical scopes, etc.) for extended periods of time. Soldering experience a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
