Job Description

Quality control inspection role focused on manufacturing quality procedures, incoming inspection, SMT setup verification, first article inspections, defect documentation, and final hardware inspection. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a related field U.S. citizenship Knowledge of
IPC-A-610

Space Addendum soldering standards Knowledge of component identification and polarity Ability to read and interpret customer drawings Ability to produce written reports Ability to perform minor statistical calculations Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for short distances Training required to perform receiving inspection according to work instruction Preferred Skills Electronics manufacturing inspection experience SMT line inspection experience First Article Inspection experience AS9100 procedure experience Receiving inspection experience Defect tracking experience Experience comparing assembled hardware to samples or engineering drawings Experience documenting visible defects in assembled hardware Job Responsibilities Perform Quality Control functions in the manufacturing area Enforce applicable Quality Management procedures and manufacturing processes Perform incoming item inspections Support receiving inspection operations Verify SMT line machine setups Perform First Article Inspections on assembled products Complete First Article Inspection paperwork in accordance with AS9100 procedures Take measurements to verify product and process compliance Inspect assembled hardware for visible defects Compare products to samples and engineering drawings to identify defects or problems Document defects and organize defect data into usable form Maintain defect tracking records Perform final inspection of outgoing hardware Write Quality Assurance reports as required by management
