About the
Role:
We have an exciting opening for a Quality Inspector located at our Augusta location. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you: What you'll do: Perform scheduled audits and 100% inspections as assigned. Use micrometers including those for depth and thread measurement, scales, dial indicator and fixed gauges, flow test machines and associated fixtures. Perform audit and calibrate inspection equipment and tools as required. Responsible for notifying setter, Supervisor, and Quality Engineer of excessive defects and jobs running out-of-specification and ensure corrective action taken. Maintain inspection records and assist in preparation of reports utilizing SAP as required. Move parts within SAP. Maintain work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules. Train new employees in department. Maintain inspection records and assist in preparation of reports utilizing computer system software as required. Verify that processes are followed according to established procedures Other duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Actively identifies problems and opportunities for change and implements solutions where appropriate. Dependability, commitment to doing the job correctly and carefully, and being trustworthy, accountable, and attentive to details. Follows established procedures for completing work tasks. General experience with enterprise reporting tools. Give and receive constructive feedback in real time High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Manufacturing Industry experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ Years Quality Experience 2+ Years General Computer Skills General experience working with SAP ERP Business System. Read and understand blueprints.
