RESPONSIBILITIES
I nterpret part requirements from engineering documentation and validate inspection data accordingly. Assist in documenting of inspection programs in (SOS) standard work format. Perform part and process inspections using established quality equipment and processes and maintain corresponding inspection records. Includes Foundry & Quality Lab equipment, based on area assignment, including, but not limited to, tensile testers, spectrographs, and CMMs. Maintain documentation in support of Quality Management System processes, including departmental standard work and other ISO documents as necessary. Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel in resolving product and process problems as directed. Assist in gage control processes, including calibration and validation of gages. Perform internal quality audits and process reviews. Other duties as assigned by Lab/Environmental supervisor including quality, safety, or other compliance activities.
EXPERIENCE
Quality or compliance background utilizing metrology equipment Preference for individuals with experience in high volume manufacturing systems
EDUCATION
High school diploma/equivalent required. Associates degree in technical field preferred.
