00am - 2:30pm Position Summary Supports factory operations by performing microbiological analysis on raw materials, utilities, and finished products for positive release. Monitors production environments and collaborates with the Facility Hygienist to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities Microbiological Testing:
Conduct qualitative/quantitative testing (EB, AMC, Staph, B. cereus , yeast, mold, pH) on incoming materials and finished goods using direct streak and pour plate methods.
Environmental Monitoring:
Sample, test, and report data for the facility's environmental monitoring program and utility systems (including sensory and pH analysis).
Data & Documentation:
Prepare, review, and document analytical results in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
Lab Maintenance:
Oversee the calibration/maintenance of analytical instruments, manage MCS control organisms, and maintain a clean, compliant laboratory environment. Qualifications In-depth knowledge of foundational microbiology methods, technology, and plating techniques. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
