Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented ATTI Certified Quality Control Technician to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all construction activities meet the highest quality standards by conducting inspections, data collection, and analysis on-site. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. Duties Perform comprehensive quality inspections of construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Conduct laboratory testing of aggregate and hot plant samples and other materials to verify quality parameters. Collect and analyze data related to aggregate and hot mix processes, materials, and site conditions to identify potential issues early. Field sample asphalt mixtures from jobsite for compliance with project specifications . Maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspection reports, and non-conformance issues for project documentation. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality concerns promptly and effectively. Sample & test stockpiled aggregate materials for mix designs, mix design verification and crusher control. Qualifications Proven laboratory experience related to construction materials testing. Strong understanding of quality control procedures and inspection techniques within the construction industry. Excellent analysis skills for interpreting test results and identifying deviations from standards. Familiarity with hot mix designs, aggregate gradations and documentation processes. Ability to collect accurate data efficiently in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of construction inspection practices specific to highway or heavy civil projects is highly desirable. Pay:
$24.00 - $26.50 per hour
