$22.00 $24.00 per hour Position Overview Client seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring production activities, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining quality records, and ensuring products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a food, beverage, supplement, or nutraceutical manufacturing setting and possess a strong understanding of GMPs and food safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-operational inspections to verify equipment cleanliness, sanitation effectiveness, and production readiness. Conduct routine quality checks throughout production, including in-process inspections, documentation reviews, and product verification activities. Complete GMP audits and facility walkthroughs to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate and compliant quality documentation in accordance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices. Monitor manufacturing operations and identify potential quality or food safety concerns. Collaborate with Production and Sanitation teams to implement corrective actions and maintain compliance. Support adherence to USDA, FDA, HACCP, and internal quality management programs. Track and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformance findings. Review batch records and production documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to product release. Promote quality awareness and reinforce GMP and food safety practices on the production floor. Required Qualifications 6 months to 1+ year of experience in food, beverage, dietary supplement, or nutraceutical manufacturing. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and fundamental food safety principles. Experience performing quality inspections, audits, or operational checks in a regulated environment. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and maintain consistency in a production setting. Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the manufacturing floor. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical duties including standing and walking for extended periods. Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience in USDA- or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, PCQI, or similar food safety systems. Experience supporting sanitation verification, ATP testing, or environmental monitoring programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Interest in food quality, health, wellness, or consumer products manufacturing.
