Quality Technician Amphenol Borisch Technologies - 3.5 Mesa, AZ Job Details 7 hours ago Qualifications Statistics Customer communication Spreadsheets Statistical analysis Full Job Description The Quality Technician is an entry level quality assurance position supporting the Quality Department to ensure customer requirements are planned and implemented during the purchasing, inspection, and launching of products including calibration of gages and test equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists Quality Engineers with identifying opportunities for making improvements to processes and products. Provides administrative assistance to Quality Engineers and other Quality Department team members. Reviews FPI, FAI, Delta FPI, Delta FAI and Qualification reports and assists Quality Engineers by creating reports. Creates inspection instructions and any quality documentation needed or reports. Monitors and ensures control tests are completed along with submitting appropriate documentation as required. Prepares and submits FAT reports. Review, assist, or create Change Notifications, NPN, BOM, Quality Alerts amongst others in assistance to QE's/QM. Communicates with the customers at times regarding product quality issues, FAI/DFAI, Testing reports or project related items as requested Maintains, calibrates and repairs equipment Maintains calibration documentation following detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings and requirements Disassembles, cleans and replaces parts of test equipment Maintains, calibrates and repairs equipment Maintains calibration documentation following detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings and requirements Disassembles, cleans and replaces parts of test equipment Performs other tasks/duties/projects as assigned by Manager or lead. Job Requirements AS Degree or minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing role. 1-2 years of experience in Quality role, strongly preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Calibration role, strongly preferred. Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, preferred Experience using Quality tools and practices, preferred Excellent Problem Solving, Statistical and Analytical skills Excellent computer skills. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexible schedule and OT availability Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
