Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee on-site QA/QC activities across complex construction projects, including semiconductor and cleanroom environments. This role supports the full project lifecycle through field inspections, documentation control, and verification of work against drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The engineer will identify nonconformances, support corrective actions, and coordinate closely with subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to resolve quality issues. Daily work includes inspections, reporting, material verification, and participation in audits and turnover packages within an active construction site setting.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in QA certification programs and required training sessions
- Monitor, track, and report quality issues; prepare and submit daily and weekly reports
- Compile, review, and maintain testing and inspection documentation in a timely manner
- Execute QA/QC inspection processes in accordance with established procedures, standards, and methodologies
- Perform field inspections to verify work complies with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure proper documentation control, including inspection records, test reports, and turnover packages
- Support material inspections and verify compliance with approved submittals
- Operate inspection instruments and equipment following company guidelines

- 3-5+ years of experience with semiconductor "Hook-Up" projects
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC inspection processes, testing procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- General Contractor license or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- Willingness to wear cleanroom gowning attire on an occasional, as-needed basis
- Experience with QA documentation platforms such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Experience participating in audits, certifications, or formal QA training programs
- Ability to perform field inspections against drawings, specifications, and approved submittals
