Full-Tim e Summary of the Ro leWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support quality assurance and quality control activities within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and ASQ quality standars.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within an ASQ-certified manufacturing environment and possess strong skills in inspection techniques, blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiative s. Qualificati onsHigh School Diploma or GED required.

Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of Quality Inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience working within an ASQ-certified Quality Management System is requir ed.
ISO 9001
Internal Auditor Certification or equivalent ISO certification strongly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

Experience utilizing precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.

Familiarity with corrective action processes, root cause analysis, and quality documentation.

Experience supporting internal and external quality audits.

ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferr ed. Key Responsibili tiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and components.

Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement equipment.

Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.

Support
ISO 9001
compliance initiatives and quality audits.

Identify and document non-conforming materials and products.

Assist with corrective and preventive action investigations.

Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing defects and improving product quality.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.

Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) when required.

Ensure adherence to company safety policies and quality procedu res. Preferred Certifica tionsASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT)Lean Manufacturing CertifiationSix Sigma Green Belt Physical Requir ementsProlonged periods of standing, walking, and performing inspections throughout the facility.

Frequent use of inspection and measuring equipment.
