Job Description

Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Quality Inspector position within their high-technology defense systems team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support quality assurance operations by inspecting parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment to ensure compliance with stringent aerospace and defense standards. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and is fully on-site.

Pay:
$32.21 per hour
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of directly related experience; Associate's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
Schedule:
First Shift Clearance Requirement:
No clearance required (U.S. citizenship required) In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to: Inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment for compliance with specified quality standards and requirements. Perform real-time defect evaluation and support corrective action implementation and rework verification. Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation and inspection records. Support electronic and mechanical test configurations for inspection and validation activities. Interface with coworkers, internal customers, and suppliers regarding quality-related concerns and resolutions. Apply statistical process control techniques and workmanship standards to ensure product quality. Identify opportunities for process improvements and continuous quality enhancement initiatives. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of electrical theory and quality inspection processes. Knowledge of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and process control techniques. Experience with J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, and X-Ray qualification standards/certifications. Ability to set up and utilize basic electronic and mechanical test configurations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
