In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet stringent quality standards and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. Your expertise will support the production process by conducting thorough inspections, analyzing quality data, and maintaining robust quality systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations, and proficiency with precision measurement tools to uphold our commitment to excellence in food manufacturing. Duties Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Perform detailed quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations to verify compliance across all manufacturing stages. Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines to ensure measurement accuracy and product specifications are consistently met. Collect and analyze quality data systematically to identify trends, deviations, or areas requiring improvement. Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems aligned with
ISO 13485
standards for medical-grade food products. Assist in the development, review, and enforcement of quality assurance procedures and protocols. Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to regulatory standards and company policies. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, calibration logs, and non-conformance reports for traceability and audit purposes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product safety, quality consistency, and operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience with Calypso software or similar quality management systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and FDA regulations related to food manufacturing. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines. Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data collected during inspections and audits. Familiarity with QA/QC processes within a manufacturing environment focused on food safety and quality assurance. Ability to conduct comprehensive quality audits and implement corrective actions effectively. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation practices. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting findings clearly.
