Job Description

Seasonal Scale House Operator (Harvest 2026) Join Our Harvest Team! LangeTwins Family Winery & Vineyards is looking for dependable, detail-oriented Seasonal Scale House Operators to play a critical role during one of the most exciting times of the year

As the first point of contact for incoming grape deliveries, you'll help keep our harvest operations running smoothly by weighing trucks, tracking grape loads, coordinating with winery and vineyard teams, and ensuring accurate documentation. Available Full-Time Seasonal Shifts We are hiring for two graveyard shift positions: Shift 1: 4:00 AM
  • 12:30 PM Shift 2: 11:30 PM
  • 8:00 AM Training availability
  • 8 AM to 4:30 PM for 2 weeks Both positions are full-time seasonal roles during Harvest and require availability to work 6 days per week, with the possibility of 7 days during peak harvest periods.
What You'll Do:
Operate the truck scale and accurately weigh incoming and outgoing trucks Ensure compliance with all Weighmaster regulations and documentation requirements Record grape load information and issue weigh certificates Verify accuracy of scale tickets, weigh tags, and Bills of Lading (BOLs) Maintain computerized records and daily scale logs Assist with staging grape trucks to support efficient harvest operations Collect daily wine samples for the winemaking and laboratory teams Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Scale House environment Work closely with vineyard, cellar, laboratory, and production teams Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous office, administrative, or data entry experience preferred Possess or obtain a valid California Weighmaster Certificate Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems Proficiency with basic math, data entry, and 10-key functions Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume harvest environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure Why Join LangeTwins?
