Job Description
Construction Apprentice Purpose Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites throughout Placer, Nevada and Sacramento Counties. May operate hand and power tools of all types. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Must be able to reliably commute to job sites. Education and Experience High School Diploma Knowledge Building and Construction
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures. Mechanical
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Skills Basic Skills Active Learning Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
