30/hr-40/hr Overview Precision Advanced Manufacturing is seeking a highly experienced Precision Fabrication Inspector with a strong aerospace background. This role focuses on in-process and final inspection of high-precision machined components using a combination of traditional tools and advanced measurement systems in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined aerospace components Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including GD&T Utilize a variety of inspection tools, including: Portable CMM (Faro Arm) Optical comparators Height gauges and manual inspection tools Keyence vision systems (camera-based measurement) Program and operate Hexagon Faro Arm (portable CMM) Maintain high throughput, completing 200-400 inspections per 4-hour period depending on setup Support and mentor junior inspectors as needed to ensure quality standards Required Qualifications 10+ years of inspection experience within aerospace manufacturing Experience across multiple companies (2-3 preferred) to demonstrate breadth of exposure Strong understanding of machining processes and inspection methodologies First Article Inspection experience Proven ability to work in high-volume / high-throughput environments Hands-on experience with advanced inspection tools (Faro Arm, Keyence, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience with portable CMM programming and operation Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment Ideal Candidate Highly technical inspector with deep aerospace experience Comfortable balancing speed, precision, and quality Strong communicator with leadership/mentorship capabilities
