Assignment expected to last approximately 90 days, with the possibility of extension or earlier completion based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and dimensional inspections, and rejecting or returning nonconforming materials. Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and completing inspection documentation. Review applicable contracts, purchase orders, and customer specifications to ensure inspection activities comply with defined requirements. Verify product conformity to customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements prior to acceptance. Prepare or support preparation of AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation , as required by customer or contract. Prepare or support customer and government Source Inspection documentation , including coordination with source inspectors when applicable. Accurately document inspection results in reports and logs and enter data into the quality management system. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company procedures and complying with applicable regulations. Maintain and enhance job knowledge through training, educational opportunities, and technical publications. Support quality and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. ASQ certification or an Associate degree in a quality-related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to use a variety of hand-held inspection tools and measurement equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, system schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions, including GD&T . Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9120, and
ISO 9001
quality standards. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen, conducted in accordance with applicable laws. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large OEM customers in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Experience supporting government or DoD contracts . Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and documentation. Experience with Source Inspection or customer/government inspection readiness . Familiarity with contract review, flow-down requirements, and customer-specific quality clauses . Performance Expectations Perform work in accordance with AIRep's Quality Management System. Accurately interpret blueprints, contracts, and customer documentation. Ensure inspection and documentation meet customer and contractual requirements. Work independently with minimal supervision. Complete all assignments with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs . Requires standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday.
